I’m not sure you got my first reply.. I was wondering if you wore western clothes or something else to blend in. How were you regarded as a photographer, as a westerner ? How long were you there in Yemen. What year ?. What was it like ?(accommodations, local food, transportation etc.?)
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen each other Bill. Do you ever find yourself up here in Berkeley ?
There’s a small lunch group that meets erratically, but might be an interesting experience for you / for us, if you were to come up and join us.. Usually meet Wed. or Thurs. around 12:30 ish at an all-you-can-eat-for-$12.00-middle-eastern restaurant.. Just south of the downtown area of Berkeley. Good food, usually good conversation, free parking,
