  2. Really excellente, Bill. My Dad spent the last 18 years of his life on a 20 acre tree farm not far from New Florence, Missouri. Montgomery City was another town close by that your photos remind me of. The power of the plains. The commerce in these towns was so modest. People on the farms and tracts consumed very little. You could find clusters of people in the coffee shop, but the street life was almost a-social. People lived with a lot of acres between themselves and others.
