  1. Being from St. Louis and having had relatives in rural Southeast Missouri and over in Granite City, Illinois, I particularly enjoyed this recent blog. The Ozarks and its many cultures deeply fascinate me as a Missourian and anthropologist.

    I still rank Bill Carter at the top of the list of visual ethnographers. Thanks, Bill
